To hold the title of “ Coach “ for any profession is a testament that many aren’t able to fathom. The responsibility is usually second to none in order for a team to all be able to move forward with endurance of the common goal. For the team, the goal should be to win by any means as well as under any circumstance. With that, it all begins with the Coach. Though coaching for the NFL or NBA is totally different when being compared to the “ Art of Music “ and being any part responsible for others that aim to push their ideas to the next level. That is who Coach Cap is. The old cliché is that one must be a great follower in order to lead with great prestige. Though many would love to obtain such privileges, not even 1/8 would be amongst the elite to multitask like the Jermaine Dupris, Andre Young’s & Timbalands of the music industry.
Saying that Coach Cap is from the city that never sleeps is an understatement. The Yankee fitted baseball cap is only a part of the arsenal for the South Side Jamaica Queens native.
With over three decades of experience in music, from Disc Jockey, Artist, Production on multiple projects for multiple artists to now also podcaster for the Slang Editorial show alongside Doe Boy Sumz, Coach Cap is able to hold his own from the foundation portion of a project all the way through to mixing and mastering out to distribution. With all being said, Coaching isn’t easy. It’s actually a difficult task that many wouldn’t dare want to hold the grand title to.
In Coach Cap’s case, why not ! Somebody has to lead their team.
